I don't know if you are aware of this, but on the 24th of June it was celebrated the universal day of Iei - Sânziene, and that is the typical Romanian blouse, used with the traditional costumes. And yes there is actually a day that celebrates that. :)
In order to commemorate this special occasion, we decided to put together a small photo shoot in Bujoreni Village Museum with some of our volunteers. We dressed up and this was the result.
As you can see they all look very pretty and we can say there we had a great time, trying all this really old costumes. Some have more then 100 years old. We took special care not to damage anything, seeing that these are some rare relics of Romanian History.
